All three companies had been looking for a retail unit for the long term in the most successful shopping center in Budapest – as informed by Szabolcs Koroknai, Associate Director of Colliers Hungary, Retail Division.
Due to Colliers’s cooperation, the varied tenant range in Mammut Shopping and Entertainment Center has gained an additional three high quality tenants since Humanic, Bambini and Salamander signed their leasing contracts. The leasing contracts were signed for a 10 year term with the following retail unit sizes: Humanic with 325 sqm; Bambini with 125 sqm; and Salamander with 300 sqm.
Szabolcs Koroknai has confirmed that shopping centers with good locations and flexible leasing terms are popular among tenants even under today’s economically challenged market circumstances. According to Colliers International forecast for the second half of 2010, the interest of new brands may increase towards the Hungarian market due to slowly growing consumer demand.
